Nashiji Metal Powder

Nashiji or 梨地 translates to “Pear Skin” and refers to the metal flakes used to decorate the surface, resulting in a “Pear Skin” like pattern. This commonly uses silver or gold flakes although other metal powders like tin or aluminium can also be used depending on the design.
